È stata una giornata strana lungo la Martesana domenica scorsa e non c'era molta gente in giro. Innanzitutto forse per via del tempo – la mattina presto era davvero caldo, ma poi il cielo si è coperto e presto è diventato decisamente freddino. Penso che il cielo grigio abbia scoraggiato molte persone. Inoltre era la fine di un lungo periodo festivo, e molti erano via per il ponte. In generale, è stato tutto molto più tranquillo del solito.

It was a strange day on the Martesana last Sunday and there weren't many people about. First of all perhaps because of the weather - it started off really warm in the early morning but then clouded over and was soon distinctly chilly. I think the grey skies put a lot of people off. Then there was the fact that it was the end of an extended holiday period, and a lot of people were away for a long weekend. All in all. it was very quiet in comparison to usual.

Un peccato, perché avevo in mostra molte piante bellissime. Puoi vederne alcuni nella foto della bancarella qui sopra. Ma sono tutte piante che dureranno per tutta l’estate, quindi quelle che non ho venduto saranno presenti alla prossima edizione – domenica 18. A pity, because I had a lot of lovely plants on view. You can see some of them in the photo of the stall above. But they're all plants which will last through the summer, so those I didn't sell will be there for the next edition - on Sunday 18th. See here for more details.
