Sedum palmeri (Palmer's stonecrop / Sempreviva di Palmer)

Il Sedum palmeri è resistente e robusto, richiede pochissime cure ed è ideale per chi non ha il "pollice verde" o molto tempo (o voglia) da dedicare al giardinaggio.

Esposizione: All’esterno in pieno sole. In casa dev’essere posizionato vicino ad una finestra dove riceverà almeno 6 ore di luce al giorno.  Tollerante alla mezz'ombra, ma fiorisce un po’ meno.

Temperatura: Ha un’ottima resistenza sia alle alte che alle basse temperature: tollera temperature comprese tra -25°C e +40°C.

Annaffiatura: Va annaffiato moderatamente ogni 10-15 giorni in estate se non riceve l’acqua piovana e ogni 30 giorni negli altri mesi, inverno escluso. Un eccesso di acqua può causare il marciume radicale.

Fiore: In primavera la pianta si copre di piccoli fiori stellati giallo brillante che possono misurare fino a 8 millimetri.

Sedum palmeri is a robust plant, resistant to disease and extreme weather conditions, and needs little care and attention. It is therefore the ideal balcony or garden plant for anyone who doesn't have "green fingers" or who has little time to dedicate to gardening - or little wish to do so.

Location: Preferably outside in full sun. If you keep it inside, it should be near a window where it receives at least 6 hours sunlight a day. It will tolerate partial shade, but may flower less profusely.

Temperature: Has no fear of either high or low temperatures and will survive happily between -25°C and +40°C.

Watering: If it's not receiving rainwater, it should be watered moderately every 15-20 days in summer and once a month in spring and autumn. Cease watering in midwinter. Excessive watering can provoke root rot.

Flowers: In spring the plant is covered in sprays of small, brilliant yellow flowers, which may be up to 8mm long
