Chlorophytum comosum (Spider plant / Nastrina)

Esposizione: Tollera molto bene la luce artificiale e quindi è un’ottima pianta da interno. E’ in grado di eliminare alcune sostanze nocive presenti in tutti gli ambienti chiusi, soprattutto il monossido di carbonio e lo xilene.

Temperatura ideale: Tra i 16 e i 21 °C. Sopporta temperature minime di circa 7 °C.

Annaffiatura: Con moderazione. Il substrato deve rimanere umido sia in primavera che in estate ma rischia di sviluppare marciumi radicali se innaffiata eccessivamente o, se innaffiata troppo poco, mostra subito secchezza a livello fogliare. In inverno nei mesi invernali innaffia meno frequentemente, ma solo nel caso in cui la tua abitazione sia fresca e senza caloriferi.

Growing conditions: Grows happily in artificial light and absorbs noxious sunstances such as carbon monoxide and xylene which are present in all closed spaces,. It is therefore excellent as a houseplant. 

Ideal temperature: Between 16 and 21 °C. But will tolerate temperatures down to about 7°C.

Watering: With moderation. The soil should remain moist in both spring and summer, but the plant risks root rot if overwatered. Lack of water will cause the leaves to dry at the tips. In the winter, when the plant is dormant, reduce the frequency of watering if the plant is in a cool, unheated room.
