Aloe vera

Esposizione: L'aloe è ideale come pianta d’interno ma può stare fuori durante l’estate. Ama le posizioni soleggiate e luminose ad esempio vicino a una finestra esposta a sud, ma si adatta bene anche all’esposizione della luce artificiale delle lampade di casa.

Temperatura ideale:. La temperatura  deve essere costante senza bruschi cambiamenti: l’ideale sarebbe tra i 18° e i 25° per avere il massimo della crescita vegetativa. Difficilmente però avrà problemi con temperature più alte, ma è importante che non scendono mai al di sotto dei 7° o 5° in inverno.

Annaffiatura: Annaffiare moderatamente, solo quando il terreno è completamente asciutto.

Fiori: L'aloe vera può produrre fiori nelle condizioni giuste, ma di solito non fiorisce spesso quando viene coltivata come pianta da interno. Quando l'aloe vera fiorisce, di solito lo fa in primavera o all'inizio dell'estate. Il momento esatto della fioritura può variare a seconda di diversi fattori, tra cui l'età della pianta, la sua salute e le condizioni di crescita.

L'aloe vera è più propensa a fiorire quando raggiunge un certo livello di maturità, il che può richiedere diversi anni. Inoltre, è più probabile che fiorisca quando subisce stress, come aver le radici strette nel vaso non ricevere le condizioni ideali di crescita. Il fusto del fiore può variare in altezza, e i fiori sono di solito tubolari e possono essere gialli, arancioni o rossi, a seconda della varietà specifica.

The flower stalk can vary in height, and the flowers are usually tubular and can be yellow, orange, or red, depending on the specific variety.
