Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen)

Aglaonema è facile da curare e ha il vantaggio aggiunto di purificare l'aria assorbendo il formaldeide e il benzene.

Esposizione: Vicino a una finestra che riceve luce indiretta moderata o luminosa. Evitare correnti d'aria fredde causate dall'apertura della finestra in inverno - spostare prima la pianta.

Temperature: Non inferiori a 16°C. Da 18°C a 27°C è l'ideale.

Annaffiatura: Aglaonema tollera la siccità e soffre di meno per la mancanza d'acqua che per l'eccesso. Annaffiare la pianta dall'alto e attendere finché l'acqua non cola più dal fondo prima di riporla nel suo vaso esterno o nel sottovaso. Lasciare quasi asciugare il terriccio prima di annaffiare nuovamente. In inverno, quando i livelli di luce scendono e la pianta cresce poco, annaffiare meno frequentemente.

Aglaonema is easy to care for, and has the added advantage of purifying the air by absorbing fomaldehyde and benzene.

Location: Near a window that receives moderate to bright indirect light. Avoid cold draughts caused by opening the window in winter - move the plant first.

Temperatures: No lower than 16°C. 18°C to 27°C is ideal.

Watering: Agloanema is drought-tolerant  and suffers less from underwatering than from overwatering.  Water the plant from the top and wait until the water no longer drips through the bottom before returning it to its outer pot or drip tray Allow the compost to almost dry out before watering again. In winter, when light levels drop and the plant is hardly growing, water less frequently.
