Domani è la terza domenica del mese, quindi come al solito troverai le bancarelle del Mercatel lungo la Martesana, tra Via Melchiorre Gioia e Viale delle Rimembranze di Greco. Non ce l'ho fatta a venire il 6, e purtroppo dovrò saltare anche stavolta — all'inizio di questa settimana mi sono rovesciato addosso una pentola di salsa di pomodoro bollente e mi ritrovo avvolto nelle bende, con troppe vesciche per riuscire a usare le mani. Ahi... Avrei avuto tantissime piante pronte, quindi spero proprio di esserci per gli appuntamenti di ottobre. Sarà comunque una splendida giornata autunnale — quindi, se sei a Milano, esci a fare due passi per goderti il bel tempo e ammirare le curiosità sul canale. All'inizio di questa settimana ho visto una grande tartaruga che si prendeva il sole. Fai un salto e vedi se riesci a scovarla!

It's the third Sunday of the month tomorrow, so as usual you'll find the stalls of El Mercatel along the Martesana between Via Melchiorre Gioa and Viale delle Rimembranze di Greco. I didn't make it on the 6th, and unfortunately I'm going to have to miss it again - tipping a pot of boiling tomato sauce over myself earlier this week has left me swathed in bandages and with too many blisters to be able to use my hands. Ouch.... I had plenty of plants ready, so I hope I'll be there for the October sessions. But it's going to be a lovely autumn day - so if you're in Milan, come out for a walk and enjoy the weather and the sights on the canal. I saw a large turtle lapping up the sunshine earlier this week. See if you can spot him (or her!).
