Questa domenica (7 giugno) si terrà la prossima sessione de El Mercatel. Avevo intenzione di pubblicare questo post molto prima questa settimana con le foto delle piante che porterò, ma il tempo è letteralmente volato e sono in forte ritardo su tutto. Entro domani (sabato) spero di aver fatto alcune foto per darvi un'anteprima, ma per ora ecco solo una breve lista delle cose che spero di avere con me:
  • Piante fiorite per ravvivare il balcone o il davanzale: tagete; impatiens (piantina di vetro); pervinca; begonia; petunia.
  • Piante da interno o esterno che radicano in acqua o in terra: tradescantia (miseria); edera; pothos.
  • Piante grasse: cactus; albero di giada e altre.
  • Tantissimi semi diversi da seminare a giugno e luglio. Alcuni sono piante fiorite e altri per l'orto. Ci sono anche varietà nane ideali per il balcone.
  • Vasi biodegradabili per semi.
  • Biglietti d'auguri con foto di fiori da usare per ogni occasione.
  • Vasi decorativi in ceramica o vimini per contenere le vostre piante.

This Sunday (June 7th) is the next session of El Mercatel.  I'd intended to put this post up much earlier in the week with pictures of the plants I'll be bringinging - but time has just flown away and I'm way behind schedule with everything. By tomorrow (Saturday) I hope to have taken some photos to give you a preview, but for now here's just a brief list of the things I hope to have with me:

  • flowering plants to brighten up your balcony or windowsill: marigolds (tagetes); busy lizzie (impatiens); periwinkle (pervinca); begonia; petunia.
  • plants for the house or outside, which will root in water or soil: tradescantia; ivy; pothos.
  • succulents: cacti; jade plants and others.
  • lots and lots of different seeds to sow in June and July - some flowering plants and others for your kitchen garden - including dwarf varieties ideal for the balcony.
  • biodegradable seed pots
  • greeting cards featuring photos of flowers useable for any occasion.
  • decorative vases in ceramics or wicker to hold your plant
