L'edizione di oggi di El Mercatel è stata accompagnata da un tempo perfetto — caldo ma non troppo — che ha incoraggiato molti espositori a partecipare. In tutto eravamo circa in 40, quindi c'era una grande varietà di merci in mostra. E alle 11:00 c'era un momento musicale con il Duo OltreConfine, arpa celtica, chitarra e dulcimer. È stato fantastico — ecco un breve filmato di cosa vi siete persi se non siete venuti. Spero che torneranno per le prossime edizioni.

Today's edition of El Mercatel saw perfect weather - warm but not too hot - and that encouraged a lot of stallholdes to attend. There were about 40 of us all together so there were plenty of different types of goods on display. Ande alle 11.00 c'era un momento musicale con il Duo OltreConfine, arpa celtica, chitarra e dulcimer. It was excellent - here's a short clip of what you missed if you didn't attend. I hope they'll be back for future editions.

Ero lì con le mie piante e mi sono davvero divertito a sedermi e guardare le anatre con i loro anatroccoli che nuotavano su e giù per il canale.

I was there with my plants and thoroughly enjoyed sitting watching the ducks with their ducklings swimming up and down the canal.

E proprio di fronte alla mia bancarella, questo splendido ligustro lucido era in piena fioritura. Due settimane dopo non è più in fiore, ma di sicuro ci saranno altre piante e uccelli sul canale da osservare. Quindi vieni alla prossima edizione di domenica 7 giugno per vedere cosa c'è in mostra.

And right opposite my stall, this glorious Chinese privet (Ligustrum lucidum) was in bloom.Two weeks later it's no longer in bloom, but for sure there will be other plants and birds on the canal to look at. So come along to the next session on Sunday June 7th as see what's on show.
